[BUG] ISO 13-11

Looks like there are international standards for everything:
ISO 31-11 apparently sets the international standard for the
conventions for spherical and cylindrical coordinates!

ISO 31 addresses "Quantities and units", and Part 11 addresses
"Mathematical signs and symbols for use in the physical sciences and
technology". Wikipedia has a page describing this standard at:
	http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_31-11
but I don't trust them to have gotten the details correct.
I tried the ISO website, where I learned that the most recent revision
was 1992, with an earlier version in, I believe, 1978. However, to my
astonishment, they don't post the standards online -- but rather want to
sell me a copy:
	http://www.iso.org/iso/iso_catalogue/catalogue_tc/catalogue_detail.htm?csnumber=3653

I've asked our library to track down a copy of ISO 31-11 if they can.
Do any of the readers of this list have access to a copy?

It would be very interesting to learn what the "official" conventions
are for spherical (and cylindrical) coordinates, especially if they've
been around since at least 1992...
